My favorite things to capture are the big transformations. I am your Vermont photographer for pregnancy photography, birth photography, Fresh 48 photography, and baby photography.

Birth Smiles serves the Burlington Vermont area for birth photographer, newborn photography, and maternity photography. Sarah is a certified Vermont birth doula and provides birth support to Vermont families.

Birth Photography

Your child's birth is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a Vermont birth photographer, my mission is to document the raw and authentic beauty of this journey. I will create a visual narrative that not only tells your story, but evokes the powerful emotions felt during labor and birth.

Every birth is unique, and I tailor my services to suit your preferences and comfort level. My aim is to create a safe and comfortable space, allowing you to focus on the journey while I capture the magic!

Pregnancy Photography

Pregnancy is a transformative time filled with joy and anticipation. These sessions are designed to celebrate and document the beauty of your growing body and your growing family. If you have older children, they are welcome to be part of pregnancy or maternity photos.

Newborn Photography

Bringing home a new baby is a beautiful but hectic time. And one day you blink and you have a toddler who is running around and asking for more snacks. Let me come to your home and document the tiny newborn details and the start of your baby's story. You will never regret having these memories to look back on.

Newborn sessions should be booked during pregnancy and the session date will be finalized after your birth.

Fresh 48 Photography

This is a unique and intimate session that takes place within the first 48 hours of your baby's life. It is easy for the memories to blur together when you have a new baby. I specialize in capturing the authentic moments and the unique tiny details.

Let me capture the early moments of your newborn's life, allowing you to remember the joy and love you felt when you first held your baby.
